Blue Chipper FADE IN:

INT. SUBWAY STATION, NEW YORK- DAY

[We open in one of the dank subway stations of New York City. At this point and time it is completely empty with the exception of the Sax player having a jam session on the platform. Just from listening to his playing you can hear that he’s a pretty good player, and the money in his saxophone case is a testament to that. We pan right and the cameraman gets a shot of a very cute couple walking down the steps and waits for the train while holding hands. Not seeing anything of interest the cameraman pans to the left and now we see what we all tuned to insider to see, Matt Keith is sitting on a bench while relaxing and leaning back; apparently he must be waiting for the train. As the cameraman gets closer Matt begins to speak]

Matt Keith: I want gold [Chuckles] I…want…gold.

[Matt chuckled once again then sits up]

Matt Keith: That’s the phrase that’s been running rampant on WWA Insider for the past few days, however I find it a bit cliché.

[He crosses his arms]

Matt Keith: Every worthless maggot with a little TV time thinks that suddenly, just like that they some how deserves to become world champion. All the way to the rookies and up to the seasoned veterans everyone wants their shot.

[Matt stands and begins to walk, the loud steps of his brown Lugs boots hitting the pavement can be heard with every step he takes]

Matt Keith: The old saying “if you’re not here to win the world title you shouldn’t be here” is always looming over even the most insignificant wrestlers on the roster. But the pure unadulterated truth is there is only a handful of wrestlers that has what it takes to hold the world title, and I’m at the very top of that list.

[Matt stops about halfway before getting to the Sax player]

Matt Keith: 2003 was the year of the paper champion; it was the year where when you thought of the world champion you began to laugh. 2004 has just begun and even now the world title is being molested by a champion that’s not worth the toilet paper his contract is printed on.

[He begins to walk again]

Matt Keith: They all are spewing reason after reason why they deserve a shot at the WWA World Championship, but what they don’t want to admit is why they don’t deserve a shot. It makes me want to puke just looking at guys like Ian Tense desecrate my TV with pathetic words, with sad attempts to regain past glory.

[Matt stops once more]

Matt Keith: Tense, for some reason among every wrestler on the Fiesta roster you are the one that sickens me the most. Here you are, you were once at the top of your game, since coming to the WWA you have beaten the best, including my trainer and friend JC Swinger. When you left the WWA you left behind a measuring stick that every wrestler should try to live up to or even surpass, but what gets under my skin about you Tense is you decided it was time to make a come back. You see Tense you couldn’t be content with what you had, no not you, instead you op to come back and throw a monkey wrench in the works, and I take that as a personal insult. I am so sick and tied of hearing you run off at the mouth about how many months you held the world title, that’s in the past jerky, this is a new WWA with new talent, more intense talent, talent by the name of Matt Keith.

[Matt looks a bit angry now]

Matt Keith: You want to know why I deserve a shot at the world title!? Huh!? Because unlike the others I don’t ride my past accomplishments, I don’t coast through the WWA on remember this and I did that, I don’t hold on to seven month title reigns like grim death. Sure, there is no doubt that was impressive a while back but you got to ask yourself Tense, “What have I done lately”? I’ll answer that for you Ian, you’ve been getting frequent beat downs by a punk. That’s quite a fall for a man that was once on top of the world.

[Keith still looks a bit angry and annoyed but he manages to smirk]

Matt Keith: But isn’t that what it’s all about for former WWA world champions, they don’t bleed for this business like I do, they don’t push themselves to the limit like I do every night. To them it’s about another YJ Stinger commercial for them or another big movie deal.

[We can hear the loud roaring sound of the train in the distance, and after several seconds the train speeds up to the platform and screeches to a stop to let off it’s passengers. The doors open and a flood of people gets off, Matt and the cameraman gets engulfed; yet Matt continues]

Matt Keith: Just as most of these people are oblivious to what’s going on around them the same thing can be said about WWA superstars. Not one of them looks at the big picture, not one of them knows what it really takes to be in the World Title hunt. But unlike them I’ve been planning I’ve been working for the moment.

[After a minute or two of pushing and rushing the terminal is empty one more]

Matt Keith: Will I be going to Rage In The Cage as Fiesta’s representative? You can bet your ass. Will I walk away the World Champion? All I say to that is do the math.

[Matt drops some change into the Sax player case]

Matt Keith: Four days left, four days until we all witness history.
