Kid Cool had been worked to the bone, he had no time for videos anymore and the only ones he did watch, were wrestling videos of his opponents and even then he had to take notes to decipher what style of wrestling each wrestler had taken and the history behind that style. Sure it was tedious but Kid Cool had just started to enjoy it, his moves were starting to take shape if but a bit sloppy still. Kid Cool was almost ready to get back at the WWA and take that first victory. Although there was one thing through all his years of training Khaled could never amend in Kid Cool.

“And that’s why I am going to be a title holder within three months.”

His ego, no matter how hard Khaled tried to sort it out it was nearly impossible to contend with, Kid Cool had not yet seemed to grasp the seriousness of this situation, within 7 weeks if Kid Cool had not got a clean win he would be out of the WWA.

“So no matter what anyone says, Kid Cool is going to be around the WWA for a long, long time.”

Kid Cool blows on his knuckles as he sits at the broad oak interview desk next to Wallace Coleman, Wallace never really knew how to take Kid Cool, yeah making witty comments and confusing him was funny at first but he needed some serious comments. A serious quote to take back to the WWA offices. He adjusted himself in his seat, no matter how hard he tried he felt uncomfortable.

“So” Wallace broke the silence. “What do you think about the training program Khaled has put you through?”

Kid Cool paused for a moment to ponder, Khaled never let cameras in on his training sessions with Kid Cool, maybe it was to save face or maybe he wanted Kid Cool to surprise everyone in a match, never the less Wallace had a certain curiosity for this. And Kid Cool had to tread lightly.

“The program is tough and the days seem to be getting longer and longer Wally.”

Kid Cool was proud of his response his smile shone through, this irritated Wallace, he thought he might have got something juicy out of that.

“Can you not go into detail about your daily routine?” Wallace thought that might break the Kid down slightly.

“Well…” Kid Cool thought for the briefest of seconds, Wallace smiled “I can’t say too much but we have a chat at the beginning and end of the day, no day is the same, it’s a good way to keep me on my toes.”

Wallace was stunned, although this Kid had an ego he was pretty smart under the exterior, Wallace was going to have to use a few dirty tactics to get the story he wanted.

“Ok, going back to last Monday, you say you had that match won, so why did Showtime help you out getting Jim Black disqualified.”

“Well to be honest that wasn’t meant to happen, what I…” Kid Cool retorted to Wallace’s aggressive comment

“So you admit to cheating then.” Wallace interrupted, by god I think he got something

“I didn’t finish my story, as I said I don’t think is what meant to happen like that, I knew Showtime might make an appearance but I didn’t realise he would interfere with me! I mean I almost had the match won.”

Wallace took down some notes, he clearly riled up Kid Cool with that last comment, although hated by fans for joining the Warr alliance, Kid Cool was never a bad guy, he was too naive to actually plan a victory. Everything that happened to Kid Cool was either down to luck or fate.

Whatever you wanted to call it there was an awkward silence between both men, and Kid Cool looked at his watch.

“So one more question before you go Cool, being a part of the Warr family has certainly pushed you up in the direction of super-stardom, but with only seven weeks left to continue your WWA contract you think you can beat the level of opponent your going to be facing.”

This was a good question and made Kid Cool think, he didn’t expect Wallace to mention his contract and it threw him off guard, he could see Wallace’s’ eyes looking at him with intent.

“I have only one thing to say to that Mr. Coleman, you will see my contract safely restored come this Tuesday on Meltdown, I have two great partners working alongside me and I’m sure we’ll gel together well as a team and gain the victory required to win.”

Kid Cool paused.

“I have a lot of respect for my opponents though but at the end of the day there just not cool enough to beat Kid Cool, you know, I’m trying to think of a good line, something that will really make me stand out. What you think Wallace.”

Wallace smiled.

“How about Cool as Ice”

Kid Cool rubbed his chin and smiled.

“Cool as Ice eh? I like it, where did you come up with something so good so quickly?”

Wallace shrugged as Kid Cool got up muttering to himself about Cool as Ice, as Wallace smiled, he might not have the great story now, but give it time, he could see a storm brewing.
