The former WWA Champion returns for the rebirth, can he cap his return by winning Best of the Best?
[Tough times do indeed try tough men. After regaining a sliver of confidence, Ki Loshimo did indeed fail to extend his momentum. Eddie Van Dorn was somehow able to capture a hard fought victory. For the most part Anzai has given Loshimo the cold shoulder, only looking him in the face on a few occasions over the past two weeks. With that being said, she has definitely made sure that he has understood her displeasure. The mumbling of certain words like “overrated” every time she was in the same room as Loshimo began to wear at his patience.]
[Unlike his recent past failures, Loshimo’s defeat at the hands of Eddie Van Dorn inspired him to work harder than before. Not only has he been spending countless hours, the hours of tape he’s been watching have been out of character. Again unlike his past failures, he isn’t covering his short comings with excuses, complaints, or pouting. Unlike other failures, Ki Loshimo has kept his mouth quiet and dedicated himself to improving his skills.]
A Few Hours Ago
[Everyone in the spotlight pays attention to what is being said about them. Yes, really. They may claim not to, but it’s only human nature to be curious of outside opinions on their abilities and talent. Sitting in front of his lap top Ki is on one of the various wrestling websites that follow wrestling. Differing from Japan based Puroresu websites; fans in America can be unrelenting in their opinions and comments. To their credit some know exactly when they see talent. Some of the visible comments that Loshimo seems to focus on are the following.]
One Post Reads:
Ha! Loshimo can’t even beat EVD after his match with Copeland! He’s better off back in Japan!
Another Eloquent Post Reads:
Loshimo suxs!
Yeah…That’s always great to read. Loshimo continues to browse posts. He comes up to one that catches his eye; he begins to nod his head as he reads.
I don’t understand the other posts; Loshimo has shown a great deal of promise. In this day in age of overblown gimmicks, steroids, and bland heavyweights he is bringing a different style to the WWA. Yea, he’s been struggling, but if you watch his matches he has a great deal of talent.
He does seem to lose his focus too much, yet you can’t deny that not many people are going to control EVD the way he did no matter the shape he’s in. If Armaan is not careful, Loshimo will beat me.
Later posers!
[Hmmm. Very interesting, a smirk comes to Loshimo’s face as he leans back for a moment. Nice to know the entire world isn’t against him. The one thing the post mentioned was, Armaan. Armaan Singhania, Loshimo has become quite familiar with him over the past few weeks. He understands what Armaan has accomplished in his time within the WWA, he knows of the vicious reputation.]
Does he respect Armaan? Perhaps he does, just perhaps.
Inside a Hotel Lobby
[Very few guests are wondering around the lobby, most have already retired to their rooms for the night. The hour is not late; it just seems to be one of those nights. Loshimo sits in a rather comfortable chair reading from a non descript magazine. Anzai has just entered the hotel through the front door, spotting Loshimo she rather quickly walks in his direction.]
Recognizing the footsteps Loshimo looks up, surprised by Anzai’s approach he places the magazine on the table in front of him.
Loshimo: Are you here to call me overrated again? Or are you just going to stand there and ignore me?
[Anzai places her hands on her hips as she stares at Loshimo for a few moments. Just when it seems that she may choose to walk away she speaks up.]
Anzai: No, I’m actually here to go over your match on Underground. Armaan is focused, I don’t want to stand here and have you be cocky again and not understand the talent of your opponent. That cost you against Dorn, you had him defeated…
[Loshimo abruptly interrupts her in the middle of her sentence.]
Loshimo: I know, I made a mistake and it cost me. I’m doing all that I can to make sure the same mistake does not repeat itself. Armaan is not someone I should take lightly.
[Anzai’s forehead wrinkles for a moment, taken aback by Loshimo’s comments.]
Anzai: That…That’s good to hear. Did you go over the notes I left you?
Loshimo: I did and adjusted them accordingly. I feel that you missed some advantages I have against Armaan.
[Wow. Since they’ve met Loshimo has not been proactive enough to ever adjust any of the prematch notes. Anzai seems even more perplexed with this revelation.]
Anzai: I will go over them tomorrow morning…What’s gotten into you?
Loshimo: In order to start winning matches I need to change my approach. If I’m not focused I’ll never be able to reach my goals.
[Anzai nods her head.]
Anzai: I’m glad you’re starting to come around. We have a lot of work that needs to be done.
[The cocky smirk flashes over Loshimo’s face for a brief moment.]
Loshimo: I know Aika, it won’t happen over night…But, there’s no reason why it can’t begin at Underground.
