Seth Copeland and Ali walk into the room hand in hand and take a seat on a couch facing a camera. Seth looks into it and after a moment he shakes his head, he whispers in Ali’s ear and she nods. Seth sits silently with his hands clasped together underneath his chin and stares at a spot on the ground, as his love faces the general direction of the camera and speaks for him.

Every journey begins with a single step …

Last week Seth took the first step in reclaiming the humanity he once had. The monster he once was isn’t completely gone, but he is working on that. His greatest strength lies not beneath that mask, but deep within his heart and that will be what gets him through the challenges that lie ahead.

Despite my disability, I saw that he wanted to fight back, that he wanted to defeat the monster that lies within him. I saw that the monster possessing him was eroding the bedrock of his soul and I needed to save him.

Everyone else had given up on him, but at Underground the world saw the true Seth Copeland, the man that was once loved for his never say die attitude and his ability it overcome the greatest of challenges.

He wants that again, and even though he is struggling at the moment, he has regained the focus to succeed in this business … even against the so called “unstoppables” in the WWA.

Last week you saw the first signs of the great man he once was and will be once again. But before he can truly rid himself of “Copeland” he must find the strength to fight two monsters.

This week he faces his next challenge, the reigning World Champion … Trendkiller.

I know that this evil excuse for a human being views Seth as a nobody and an emotionally crippled mess. But what he fails to “see” could lead to a shock loss for him. No matter what he says about Seth and no matter how he feels about him, he will be facing a man who has something to prove.

Seth needs to defeat a physical monster to help subdue the monster within him. The monster known as Trendkiller is a beast from all that I’ve heard, he believes that he has no challenge in this business, but that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Seth has made significant strides since he removed that mask in such a short space of time and shouldn’t be underestimated; he has the ability to one day win that very title that his opponent currently holds, but before that happens, he has to prove he deserves the opportunity and there is no better opportunity than defeating the reigning champion.

Trendkiller has said that his first victim in his “Age of Blood” will be Seth … but I truly believe that Seth’s first win on his new journey will be the biggest name in this company. Trendkiller is a force, theirs no doubt about that, but I can say with the utmost confidence that the American Psycho is like nobody that the World Champion has ever faced before.

When he steps in the ring with Seth, he will not find it easy going, quite the contrary. He will find out just how tough Seth is ... he will face the Seth Copeland who battled Richie Stone and Eddie Van Dorn to victories in Falls Count Everywhere matches and helped pioneer Ultimate Glory.

This talk of “Warrior Spirit” exists more in Seth than it does in you Mister Killer, you will find that out when Seth absorbs everything you have to unleash and ask for more … THAT is the mark of a true Warrior, someone that never gives up and fights for every inch.

This match at Underground will not turn out how you think it will, Trendkiller. You WILL NOT destroy Seth, you WILL NOT use him to send a message and you WILL NOT hurt him.

However, you and Seth do have something in common; that is you’ve both loved and lost and I sympathise with you for that. You have lost your Sandy and Seth his daughter, a little girl that has never truly known her father. But this is where the similarities between you end. He is more human than you will ever be, you choose to be evil … he couldn’t help it.

He has something that you don’t have Trendkiller and that is a heart, a heart that will never stop beating and will grant him the strength to overcome even you. He will do just that despite everything you believe; he is not weak, he is not broken and if you continue to think that then he will shock you and leave you to ponder what might have been.

Seth’s toughness was never more evident, than when I rescued him. He was living in a dark, damp, degrading cell, he was living in his own filth, he was eating slop like a filthy animal and yet throughout it all, he managed to walk out stronger than when he went in.

This match will have the same outcome; he will walk out stronger because of what you do. You are not unbeatable Trendkiller and whatever the outcome, you will know that you’ve been in a fight ... expect that when you face him. Your downfall will come soon enough Black Lion, whether it is at Seth’s hands or from another’s ... you’re not the greatest monster he’s had to overcome.

There was once a time that Seth’s lack of belief would see you annihilate him, but now he has regained the belief in himself and he believes he can defeat you. Without that mask holding him back, he will give you a fight like you’ve never been in before … prepare yourself for your first real challenge since you won that title.

Ali turns her head to Seth who looks up into the camera and nods his head once with confidence from the words that have just been spoken. He turns and looks into Ali’s blind eyes smiling at her and somehow she feels this smiling back. Seth then stands and takes her hand and they walk off camera as the camera fade to black.
