The American Dream The American Dream

America is known for it, especially after the Second World War. It’s been referred to as a land full of good things, where anything can happen and your dreams become reality. For Alec Lancer and DJ Wallstreet this was absolutely the case. They were born and raised in a huge place called New York, in one of the better areas. They didn’t know any problems until they went to Harvard and they only problem they had there was finding a butler who was willing to work for them. Put aside that minor issue, and they had nothing to worry about.

Until now.

The Stockbrokers had their lawyer searching for any information he could find about the League of Goodness. Sure, they had seen them on the television. The Great Animated Hero showed great resemblance with a famous wrestler and that worried them a bit. But they were one of the prime time tag teams in the WWA. They were risk takers with their high flying moves for sure. WWA’s newest tag team doesn’t believe it will be easy, but it can be done. Although the League of Goodness takes every opportunity, but so do they.

Only the way of approach is different. You can win by good wrestling, after picking up the pinfall or you could just as well cheat your opponent out of a victory. The League of Goodness tries to get the pinfall, while The Stockbrokers will try to cheat you out of it. It’s like horse-bedding.

There are eight horses and each have their own strategy, their own weaknesses and their own strengths. But it’s all part of the game. They each stand a fair chance at winning in theory. But then a question arises in our minds: Why aren’t the odds even then? Because some horses have a better approach to the match.

So it is with wrestlers. Although the chances of winning appear to be equal, some people are willing to go beyond. Beyond the border their opponents don’t go. They won’t cheat for example, because it is against the rules. That’s below their standard. But if someone does cheat them out of a match, it makes you wonder why you didn’t do it.

The Stockbrokers are those kind of people.

They make you wonder. They make you wonder why you didn’t run when you still had the chance. They make you wonder why you didn’t cheat instead of playing by the rules. They make you wonder if you belong in a wrestling ring. They’ll question everything you have. Or more important what you don’t have. Do you have a defence against the Million Dollar Move? Are you ready for a Money Laundry? If you step into the ring with us, you better be.

In the ring, your fear becomes reality. Everything you could have possibly thought of will happen, and more too. When you think you hold the key of the solution to beat them, they’ll change the lock. They might fear the League of Goodness, but they won’t give in to their fear. Not now, not ever. Because of their determination to make it to the top. Because of their dream.

Their American Dream.

It’s a vicious circle. Every approach, every solution and every problem, they all lead to that one dream. The one dream that defines who they are and what they do. Because every approach is every solution and is every problem. Think about it for a minute. A solution is the answer to a problem and the way you make a solution is the approach. Nothing is what it seems. Everything leads to that dream. There are no hidden motives. Everything is in black and white in the eyes of the stockbrokers. There is no grey area. You’re good or you’re bad. You’re rich or you’re poor. Either you are or you are not.

They are destined to become WWA Tag Team Champions. And you are or you are not. They don’t know and they don’t care. It seems so simple yet it so difficult to understand. Everything can be brought back to a dream. A common dream we all have. We all want to fulfil our deepest desires and wishes. They all will be fulfilled in your dream.

The American Dream.

It’s begins to repeat itself and by now the assumption from this side is you see the pattern. You’ll look to understand it, but you will fail. You will fail because you think too much of the past. Because what’s coming to you is another approach. The problem remains while the solution does not work.

Do you follow?

Every time you think to believe the Stockbrokers will do something expected they’ll show up with something you have never seen before. As you must know by now it all serves one purpose:

The American Dream.

Why would you serve a purpose? Because in reverse the purpose serves you and thus the dream serves you. The dream is their very motivation. Once again, it is a vicious circle. Everything is a vicious circle. In the end, a lost match is a win because of the experience you gained.

The Stockbrokers are looking to break that circle.

The Stockbrokers are looking to pick up that win.

They are looking to make the American dream become reality.
