Disappointment [A single lamp post provides a dull light for the alleyway between the two bars where we currently find ourselves. At first glance we notice the brick wall covered in graffiti nothing special though more like the work of some local punk kids. We now shift our focus quickly a little further down the alley where we just caught a shadow out the corner of our eye. The camera zooms in slowly and we call make out the silhouette of what we assume is a man couched down leaning across the brick wall. None of his figure can really be made out, but the shadow is intimidating enough that the camera man will move no closer. The shadow turns and appears to be starring straight at the camera now and there is a definitely uneasy feeling taking over now. The Shadow slowly stands up and begins taking a few steps towards the camera. As it approaches his features become more and more apparent, strong jaw, muscular tone, white male, short dark hair and final it clicks. The man in front of us is none other than Azrael. He stares into the camera briefly with a completely serious look on his face, then begins to speak.]

Azrael: Disappointments are something we all must face at one time or another. It’s a fact of life that’s things can’t always go the way you want them to, so we learn to cope, we learn to move on. Whether it’s the loss of a friend, a failed opportunity or a plan falling apart in front of you, the results will always be the same we brush ourselves off and try to go on leaving that incident behind us. However like every situation in life there are exceptions to the rule. Some are too weak to forget that friend and in which they never truly learn to survive without them. They may play the role acting tough acting like it doesn’t bother them, but if you watch close enough you can catch them snapping back into a state of self pity, you can see them try to hide the emotional breakdown. This lack of overcoming disappointment will remain their downfall in every challenge that follows. Then there are those that suffer a loss, one that takes anyway an opportunity they would do anything for, they tend to express more rage than after in the following days, looking to take there disappointment out through aggressions towards others. However this isn’t helping them face it or move on, they will continue to mention their failure as if we didn’t all remember anyway. They will make outlandish threats that they have no chance in keeping and for what. Do they hope it’ll wipe out the loss they suffered? Do they think it’s actually going to help them forget that they just weren’t good enough? Disappointment could haunt the lives of men like this forever turning them into sad forms of their once glorious selves. Their disappointments will be the reason for their downward spiral, their disappointment will be the reason no one will ever look at them the same. So these men have become disappointments to the world around, Macloud and Dragon claim to be competitors, but when I look in their eyes I just can’t see it and that disappoints me. I want a challenge… no I need a challenge if I am to every prove myself worthy of becoming a legend in this business some day and men like this can help me, all they do is make people question whether I’m the real deal. It’s a sad fact but true, the only reason I don’t get the respect I deserve is due to the level of competition I’m put up against and I use the word competition loosely. I don’t underestimate Macloud or Komodo Dragon I just see them as two men who are standing in my way, but I won’t allow that to last for long. Dragon can continue to hide and mourn his loss and Macloud can run his mouth all day and night about turning us all into cripples, but they both should remember one thing. The WWA ring is now my second home therefore I am going to treat you both like unwanted guest in my house using whatever force is necessary to rid you from what is mine.

[Azrael pauses now for the first time and looks away from the camera briefly and take a few towards the wall. He seem to be analyzing one of the tags on the wall and then turn back towards the camera. He now leans against the wall as he talks.]

Azrael: They had the time and the chance to do something great and this is all they could come up with all they were capable of doing.

[Azrael points to the tags over his right shoulder.]

Azrael: All the chance in the world is hand to you and you do what with it, nothing… not a damn thing. You sit back and just let it pass you by each and every time. You lack the desire and the devotion it takes to be the best at anything. Without desire without devotion in this business you will go no where. And yes for all those wondering I am not talking about that pathetic tag behind me. I’m talking about two of my opponent this week. I feel it’s a waste of time to even acknowledge them right now, but I guess I’m give them a few minutes of fame and let there names leave my mouth. Hodge and Kylo no one has heard a word from you two yet, where as everyone else has been vocal about their thoughts, feeling or even just pointless threats they felt had to be made. However you to have been silent, no let me rephrase that you two have been non existent to this point. You are both handed and yes I mean 100% handed this opportunity and appear like you’re just going to let it slip away making no attempt once so ever to claim it as yours. You both make me sick for what is the point in life without desire, what is the point in this career if you’re not devoted to being the best? There is no point at all and that’s why you make me sick, you take up space and contribute little to any challenge for anyone here in the WWA can on even that Masked fool could handle the both of you alone and let me add that simply sad. You guys want to make it somewhere in this business take my advice… get devoted… find your desire and then and only then … you can shine my boots. Come Meltdown you two aren’t even going to be on anyone’s mind, as far as everyone else is concern you are already eliminated. I have an idea how about you two skip to the ring holding hands and then just jump over the rope and save us all the time and aggravation.
Then we have Nick Adams and from what I’ve seen he pretty much can be tossed in the same category as Hodge and Kylo. I heard that Nick Adams AKA The rainmaker was a real competitor someone who would give me the challenge I was looking for. Yet at Meltdown he tapped and since has yet to show his face around to anyone. While I stand here thinking he fits in the same category as all four men I have spoke of so far. The disappointment of that loss has left him without desire and he is far from devoted to this match. Nick Adams at the same time to me though may just think he’s above a shot at the contendership for the TV title, to which I say he is living in a world of illusions. Nick Adams is relic of what the WWA used to be and sorry to say Nick my boy but your time is long over. Wake up, open yours eyes, rub all that crust out and look at what you’ve become. The Days of Devil’s Own and X-Corp are nothing but a distant memory and you are fading right along with that memory. The past is just that the past and should be left there, while the future stands right here in me! So Nick I beg you to just give it up walk away now before you are completely stripped of any of that limelight you have left. Caulk me up as just another smart mouth rookie if you wish Nick at least till Meltdown when I prove my point first hand in front of everyone.

[Azrael pushes off the wall and begins pacing slow up and down the alley now as he continues to speak.]

Azrael: Finding yourself is a defining moment in every young man life; it’s a time where you figure just what you’re all about. A time where you learn what you’re interests really are. You come to terms with the man you’re becoming or you choose to become someone different. Minor Insecurity tends to fade, but for Mighty Joe K I guess he just reached that level of his life at what the age of 27. Most people go through this at about 17 so he’s only ten years behind. Joe has already beat himself, the reason why is simple… the hardest battles you’ll ever face are those with your own mind. So simply put Joe will be to business battling himself to every truly be ready for this match. Then we come to Seth Copeland the man trying to prove his worth at Meltdown, it’s looking like everyone including myself had already labeled this kid no threat, but who’s knows… wait better question who cares? Copeland open your eyes you’re out matched, out classed… you just stepped into the big leagues and I doubt think you have any idea what awaits you. You know what Copeland the mere thought of you bores me so forget this.

[Azrael stops moving and stands in front of the camera.]

Azrael: Lori it’s seems we have something in common, we are quickly becoming the most hated people in the WWA so you know what Lori I got one thing to say good luck at meltdown.

[The camera fades out to black as azrael begins sporting a cocky grin.]
