It's story time!

Once, a man existed. On what plane of existence and in what time period and location and in what physical state is entirely inconsequential. Suffice it to say that he existed, and his existence was one of general satisfaction.

This genius of a man had achieved much across the duration of his life, and was not even that far into it. He had invented games to entertain himself, attended the most prestigious centers of learning in the world, had reinvented theories, and found love. He was mysterious and a bit of a lone wolf, but was well-respected and well-liked.

As is usually the case in situations such as this, it didn't take long for things to spiral out of control.

Were the forces that preyed upon his psyche present in the outside world in any form, or were they all pieces of his fragile being that were desperately trying to break away? Doesn't matter one way or the other, as the voices in his head grew loud enough to shut out his own thoughts, and he descended into a Hades of his very own creation.

A similar man existed many, many years later, or before, or at the same time; it continues to matter not. This latter man shared the simple complacency and early life successes of the former: this man had worked hard and pulled himself out of the darkness of his youth, quickly captivating a nation and drawing all eyes in his direction wherever he went. No matter where he went.

Soon this man found himself in a much different situation, transforming into a different man almost overnight. He was a man inundated in fear and doubt, bombarded by tormentors within and without. He, too, sunk into a personal Hell.

Both of these men have been diagnosed as schizophrenic.

Except that one of them isn't.

You see, one man built his Hell out of loneliness and a feeling of hopelessness, aiming to give himself some sort of purpose in an empty world.

The other man was given a purpose by a being that had existed for thousands of years before.

One man completely lost control of his own mind and surrendered it to the demons inside, failing and never fully recovering.

The other man never lost control, working hand-in-hand with the demon, and only grew.

How can both of these men be considered schizophrenic when one clearly is not? How can society draw a line so wide that this mistake can be made?

People do not want to accept the truth.

Seth Copeland believes that he is in control of his own life, his own destiny, so to speak, as Intrepid and Shaman believe the same. They are in reality pawns in a bigger game, a game even greater than the WWA.

The Destroyer has latched onto Jaymz's soul and has shown him what life really is: a struggle between the forces of Order and the forces of Chaos. The Destroyer has shown him that this battle determines the path of every human being, regardless of their own thoughts and beliefs. Order maintains a stability in the world, but adversely hinders the growth of the human spirit. Chaos breeds heightened humanity, and the more human a human can be, the more fun it is to devour their soul. Right and wrong no longer matters: all that matters is the taste of blood.

Humans are either instruments of these greater forces or the straw dogs that are brutalized by them. The Destroyer selected Jaymz as his instrument, and Jaymz is completely focused on achieving his goal, the bringing-about of absolute Chaos.

The Harrington Cup no longer matters.

The path to it matters, and specifically the skeletons that line the path.

Skeletons that have been created by the Destroyer.

Are you ready, Seth? Shaman? Silas? Are you ready to become the skeletons of Chaos?

No need to answer.

The Destroyer has already decided for you.
