"Consider this kind of an interview of sorts. I am going to talk about some of my experiences here during the Bourbon Street brawl. One fo the most memorable things for me was the Turtles thing involving Mal Somers i believe it was. Classic moment. A few others were the Ice cream shop and Wal mart. How they ever allowed us to involve a Wal-Mart which is nowhere near the fight still baffles me." Shaman chuckles a bit as he rubs his chin. He opens the bottle of water drinking it a bit.
"Let me just say my performances at the Bourbon Street Brawl has always been less than what I expect of myself. I want to finish at the top and take the brawl at some point in my career. One day I want to retire saying I have won something big at all of the shows. Bourbon Street brawl is a goal for me now." Shaman rubs his temples and looks down at the street. His eyes follow the sidewalks edge and then looks up towards the sky. "This city has literally been torn asunder and is about to have one of its more popular districts become a fight zone for a bunch of title needing lunatics. Someone wants what someone else has. Always the way of things." Shaman points down the road.
"Example is what people will do for Mardi gras beads. They will strip naked, sell themselves, give up any carnal desire to just get something to wear around their necks. Makes you think that New Orleans or as the locals would say Nawlins would have plenty of dirty and dark secrets. The WWA bring a few of its own dark secrets with itself every year." Shaman laughs a bit as someone below looks up at him and speaks.
"Laissez le bon rouleau de temps." the guy cheers loudly. Shaman chuckles and raises his water as the guy waves and strolls on down the street. Shaman leans back again and looks at his bottle of water. Shaman tosses the water bottle back into his room and looks through the door. "Hey man wanna bring me a beer?" a woman steps through the door and hands Shaman a beer. The woman is Suzy his old flame. The one that left him awhile ago with his child. Suzy looks down at him and lens against the railing as she turns and she looks down Bourbon Street. "I almost didn't take you up on your offer to come down here. You know i no longer have any ties with wrestling in any form other than knowing you and having a child with you."
Shaman drops his chair down onto all fours and then looks up at Suzy. "I may be an ass, a son of a bitch, and probably a few other thigns, but i will admit when i am wrong. You and Katlyn have been a large part of my life and i want that again. In the ring i still don't give a damn about who thinks of what, but that ring stops there. My home life comes seperate. I have businesses and money. What good will all that be if i don't keep my true assets open for me. Suzy you and i have had some major issues, Lets just let it be ok?" Suzy smiles and walks back inside as she speaks. "Yeah we can start over and your apology is accepted." Shaman looks at her dumbfounded.
"Where did i apologize?" Shaman shakes his head and then leans back popping open the beer. "The brawl will be a fight for the most hardened of WWA wrestlers. It is an extreme house of torture and unknown circumstances. We can have an up and coming champion rise from the ashes or we could have a veteran stepping in and taking what he feels is his." Smirking at the last part.
Shaman stands up finally and leans on the railing looking out at the buildings and people. "Maybe I should go sing some karaoke tonight i had always enjoyed that and enjoy some of the night life here in New Orleans. The French quarter is fun this time of year I had heard. The jazz and food man that makes me just shiver with anticipation."
Shaman drinks some of the beer as a breeze blows up the street. He looks towards the gulf and sighs a bit. "The rest and relaxation won't be long though, because i will have to get back to the grind." Shaman finishes the beer and walks back inside the room. Suzy and his daughter Katlyn are not in the small room, but laughter can be heard from the room next door. The little girl is laughing as she seems to be playing and enjoying herself. Shaman walks over and opens the door walking in slowly as the little girl looks up screaming loudly. "DADDY!!" Shaman smiles and scoops his daughter up hugging her as Suzy watches and smiles.
"So what are you doing right now?" He pokes and tickles Katlyn playfully. "I am watching my Daddy get ready to win his big match." He chuckles knowing the match won't be easy and he will have to work for every inch of ground he can gather from this. Blood and sweat will be the reality in this match. No man nor beast can keep him out of what he is going to do.
"He looks at Suzy as he places Katlyn gently down chuckling. "hey Suzy i gotta go and keep my schedule. never done this type of thign before, but the guy says its a character builder and fun." Suzy looks at Shaman kind of confused. "So what are you going to go do?" Shaman smirks and then smiels sadistically. "Gator wranglin." Shaman smiles and ehads for the door. Suzy laughs and responds as he leaves. "try not to lose any fingers." Shaman nods and shuts the door behind himself as he departs.
