Grunge

Grunge has a generally scruffy, haphazard appearance. This comes from the fact that he goes at least a week without shaving. His hair is buzzed black with a white streak down the middle. (Think Rogue from the X-Men or Alex Shelly). His body has added some muscle and he's become well-toned now that he's back. He resembles a shorter Randy Orton in that respect. His eyes are a deep, dark blue. His smile is his most noticable feature. It can be warm and inviting or quickly switch to a devious "chesire grin."

Grunge also loves tattoos. On his left arm he has a tattoo of his wife's face. On his right arm he has a barbwire wrap and a tattoo of the X-Man Wolverine. Outside the ring he's fond of suits with colorful vests and fedora hats.

Grunge has become much more simple when it comes to his in-ring attire. He wears red trunks with a white treble clef on the front. On back is a white comic book style word balloon with "Grunge" inside it. It's in the style of red Superman lettering. On his left side he wears a white elbow pad, knee pad, and boot. On his right his knee pad, elbow pad, and boot is red. He tapes his hands with black tape. He wears a long black waistcoat and fedora to the ring.

In a way Grunge is like an exceptionally bright kid. His unstoppable energy, comedic antics, and love for life have endeared him to most of the WWA "good-guy" locker-room. He's a bouncy thing, always on the move, always tinkering, always enamored with something, regardless of what. He loves people, finding amusing aspects of even the most ignorant of jerks. The fans and his family, wife Julie and daugher Peyton, are his heart and soul. He can be a deeply religious and introspective person at times. He sees himself as the representation of our "pop-culture obsessed lifestyle." Still he's a rather skilled manipulative and vindictive bastard when need be... or when benefit be.

Grunge has an intense love of Rock/punk/metal music, horror flicks, collecting rare 80's punk LP's, comic books, and a strange affinity for crappy TV melodrama. "The Most Entertaining Man in Wrestling" is a walking encyclopedia of “useless information” and nobody ever beats him at trivial pursuit.

His name is Grunge and he's pretty much a big deal. He is, after all, the most entertaing man in wrestling. Don't believe him, he'll tell you.

Haling from the middle of the Bible belt in Fox Oklahoma, Kenneth Wilson isn’t your typical professional wrestler. He looks like he’s more suited to serving as an Alter Boy to his father’s church than a grappler. Wanting to be a wrestler from a young age Ken learned all that he could. Under the tutelage of his uncle John he mastered the fundamentals of kickboxing at an early age. Instead of following the wishes of his father and mother Ken began to travel the world after high school and spent several months in Japan and France.

After returning he relented and stayed a semester in the University of Oklahoma where his future began to combine at all points. He met his wife Julie Monfort, a swimmer and lover of punk music like himself. At the same time, thanks to his grandfather, he managed to raise some money to enter a wrestling school and used his talent for music to get by as a piano player.

Thanks to an excellent ability to adapt to any style in the ring, Ken was discovered by Texas Hall of Famer Jake Cayhill. He began to fine tune his fearless aerial techniques in the Texas based Southwestern Wrestling Alliance promotion with his then partner Liam Jenson.

Ken entered the WWA at a young age and was settled with a gimmick not to his suiting. Thanks to some faith from Matt Warr, Grunge dumped the slacker gimmick. It was as if a powder keg of determination had exploded, and Grunge began to climb his way through the company with Julie at his side. He eventually gained the World Title over Damian Thorne leading his journey to an end.

But that's when things exploded. Grunge was suddenly thrust into a new level of popularity. Not wanting to be one of the celebrity icons he looks up to, Grunge dropped out of sight using his wife's pregnancy as an excuse. He returned from exile to occasionally wrestle for the WWA and tour all over the world. But now he's returned home to the WWA full-time.
