Appearance

Since Jack was 17 he has spent 3 hours a day working in the gym; concentrating mainly on his upper body; for this reason he is very toned above his waist but slightly less so below.

His hair is a neatly cut but fashionable for the first time in his life whilst his bead is neatly trimmed. Since his return he has worked hard to lose all of his excess body fat and he has got his weight down by 15lbs, bringing him in line with Nevada State Athletic Commission's Light-heavyweight Weight Class

Over the years Jack's hair and beard have got progressively more reserved. His hair was shoulder length and Scarlet Red on his debut but now it's: short, fashionably styled and its natural brown.

His beard too has gone from raggedy and uncared for, to neatly trimmed and perfectly cared for.

Tattoos: Aztecan God of Death - Right Shoulder
Left Ring Finger - Black Wedding Band
Right Wrist - Daisy Chain
Left Tricep - Thai Word for "Love"
Right Forearm - Whale Shark
Chest - "Forever trusting who we are"

Ring Attire

Jack's appearance has come along way since the days of wearing a kilt in the ring, nowadays he wears short, half white, half black wrestling trunks, white knee pads and white boots with a black border.

For the first time in his career he also wraps his hand in white strap as he thinks it gives him more of a "wrestling" look.

He has also taken to wearing a black leather biker's jacket to the ring.

Personality

Jack is the family man of the WWA, his first priority is his family; however he has come to accept that to pursue a career in wrestling he is going to have to spend a fair amount of time away from them. He is a fiercly proud man, whom will not hesitate in taking action against those who insult him, his family or his cars.

History

Born as the illegitimate son of a man’s mistress; it wasn’t long before he caused his first set of trouble by causing the break up of his father and his wife’s marriage; his father came around the day afterwards and beat up Jack’s mum before taking off with no intent of coming back.

Jack grew up without his father; his only memory being of that night at which his mother was beaten. Life without his father wasn’t a good experience though; his mother resented Jack for causing the man of he dreams to both beat her up but also to leave her forever. Many a night Jack was sent to bed without any food and his door locked from the outside so he couldn’t leave until his mother decided he could.

At 17 Jack enrolled at his local gym; working out for 3 hours each day just to not be in the house. It was during this period however that he met some of the people that would shape his life as it is now. He met Bill who at the time was working as a small time crook; having people beaten up and dealing drugs. He wanted Jack to become one of his henchmen but Jack reused and managed to do so for about 6 months; it was at this point that he met his now wife Rachael; he wanted desperately to date her but couldn’t due to a lack of money. Reluctantly he accepted work that Bill want to throw his way but refused to beat people up instead he became the go between of Bill and his supplier.

With his new source of income Jack set about wooing Rachael; he vowed to treat her with respect unlike his father had done to his mother; Jack discovered a new part of his life during this time; happiness but unfortunately he soon realised that he was only happy around Rachael; the rest of the time he was put down for being different; his bright red hair probably didn’t help but he was going to succeed as himself; he isn’t willing to let the world change him. Jack was spending as much time as possible with Rachael. However he still had to Bills work and fell even deeper into the drug scene; and he shamefully he became addicted to heroin; his life began to downwardly spiral; however his angel would come to his rescue. Rachael realising what was happening to Jack convinced him to go to rehab where Jack was finally able to kick the habit.

When Jack got out he went straight to the bank; took out £350 and purchased Rachael a diamond engagement ring; however when it came to proposing two days later at an intimate dinner Jack became nervous and almost didn’t do it. However pulling himself together he managed it and Rachael accepted without hesitation. She however had some bad news; her grandmother was ill and that she had to move to America to look after her. Jack however didn’t see this as a problem and proposed that they both move to America.

Knowing full well that they didn’t have enough money Jack decided to take on one last big job from Bill; a robbery. Bill needed a house turned over and its contents taken; little did Jack know that the haul was 1 million pounds worth of pure cocaine. He made the grab; got 500,000 for his job and Bill made the big time. With the fact that Rachael was American by birth; she didn’t need to get a visa, so she went out a month ahead of Jack and purchased the house. Jack followed with his visa and moved in; two months later at a low-key ceremony Jack and Rachael were married.

Jack needed something to do whilst Rachael was looking after her grandmother; so seizing the opportunity and the fact he had good upped body strength Jack took up pro wrestling; knowing that after the start up costs it can be a very lucrative occupation; he had been training for 3 years when he felt he was ready to start wrestling.

Early Career

Jack started out in a small federation called Wrestle Federation Mania, where he quickly established himself as their top wrestler; becoming the federation's first ever World Champion, a title he would go on to hold a further two times during his tenure in the federation. Along the way he would also hold the WFm World Tag Team belts and at one time also become a majority share-holder in the company.

Along with Jin Kazama, Griffiths was an inaugural member of the WFm Hall of Fame and won the final match that would be competed under the WFm Banner, beating Kazama in a 3 out of 5 falls match establishing himself as the greatest wrestler to ever grace the WFm.

For the next two years Griffiths would never truly settle in a federation, competing in PTW and nGw but never in two federations at once. The high point would come when he when the nGw World Championship, only for the company to go out of business two months later, leaving Griffiths as the only World Champion they ever had.

World Wrestling Alliance

In a bid to get his career back on track Griffiths attended an open tryout for the WWA, the company had recently undergone a brand extension and needed additional roster members to make up the numbers on the shows. The owners must've seen something they liked as Griffiths was signed by the Lucha Diablos Association brand later that day and soon began getting into shape for his debut.

In April 2004 he made his debut, packaged as angry punk, Griffiths dyed his hair red and bought dozens of punk albums to get into the right frame of mind. The immersion in punk culture worked as Griffiths would quickly go on to win the LDA DIABLO Belt and establish himself in the midcard of the Fiesta shows.

In his first ever Birthday Bash however he suffered a career threatening fall from the WWAtron and ended up in a coma for two weeks, however having alienated superstars and fans alike with his new found behaviour Griffiths would only receive one visitor during his time in hospital, his wife. On waking up he vowed to change his ways, to stop pushing people away and to make some friends in the WWA.

Griffiths new found approach did indeed find him new friends, one of whom was the then current WWA World Champion Malcom Somers Esq.

He would however enter into a notable feud with Mr. Darkness which ended days after he won the Inagural Embrace the Power tournament, Griffiths using his one night only booking powers opted to forego a World Title shot and instead booked himself against Mr. Darkness. That self same same night however he wandered into the first of his high proflie feuds, with Ember.

Almost simultaneously however he was waging war on Mal's behalf against the Devil's Own and its new leader, Dave Harley. Griffiths would go onto defend Mal's rights to the X-Corp name against Harley's World Title at the Bourbon Street Brawl. Griffiths would go onto win the match but only via disqualification meaning that whilst the rights were retained the title stayed with Harley.

To this date Griffiths has never received another World Title shot, something which has haunted him forever, leading to his most enduring nickname the "Uncrowned Champion".

After a period of uncertainty Griffiths entered the feud that defined him most, and also marked the first appearance of his wife and daughter on Live WWA television against Kyle James. James playing psychological tricks on Griffiths earned the feud, a WWAmies nomination for best feud. The feud culminated in a cage match that saw Griffiths nail a Shooting Star Press from the top of the cage which in turn would also see Griffiths retire from gimmick matches.

Finally though Griffiths won the historic WWA United States Championship, following a bitter feud with Chris MacBeth. The culmination of the feud, and Griffiths crowning moment would see Griffiths come out of his self imposed exile from gimmick matches, putting his body on the line in the first ever X-Cage match.

Griffiths would successfully defend the title in a ladder match against Christopher Dumont, before losing the title and his career against Damien MacCloud when he was eliminated by the Damned.

Following that attack Griffiths would not been seen on WWA screens for over two years, until the WWA reopened recently, never competing to the huge crowds the WWA once drew again.

What many people at the time didn't realise is that Jack was dealing with the loss of his daughter and near breakdown of his marriage.

Following his return, Griffiths quickly won the WWA United States title beating WWA legend Denrol, before finding himself tormented by Lucas Black.

The feud with Black reached a head at Rage in the Cage when Jack became the first person to make the then WWA Champion Lucas Black tapout but minutes later it would be RJ Stone who left the flagship PPV as WWA Champion.

A few short months later Griffiths' would finally fulfill his destiny, as Disney World and IDR winner Jaymz Watkins watched on Griffiths, for the second PPV in a row, made the WWA Champion, this time RJ Stone, tapout.

Griffiths' title reign would be short lived, and despite his efforts his career, despite a glimmer of the old Griffiths in a promo following a viscous attack by Copeland, seemed to enter a terminal freefall. This reached a head when, shortly after revealing EVD's drug problem to the world, Griffiths disappeared from WWA again.

But once again... he has returned!
