Born Troy Jenkins, Enigma grew up in a small town in South Dakota called Grenville. His parents were farmers and as a child he worked on a farm. Due to the fact his farm was isolated he was homeschooled for his entire life up until high school. Once there he had problems meeting friends but did however get along with most people. He began to be interested in wrestling when he saw a couple of local indys in the area. After high school he went back to work on his parents farm, but finally decided to try and make it in the wrestling business. After a year on the South Dakota indy circuit he was spotted by ICW wrestling, which he signed with under the moniker 'The Prototype' Troy Jenkins. He quickly went to their feeder federation, Club Chaos wrestling. After one match there he tried out with the WWA. After an interview, the WWA quickly hired Jenkins, who became known as EkoSyde. While in the WWA, EkoSyde made his first target known to be the monsterous Se7en. He scored his first pinfall over the big man. After a long standing feud EkoSyde was the man that was left. After losing his WWA Television Title, EkoSyde became depressed and underwent a transformation into Enigma (who was masked) and on Meltdown Enigma "killed" EkoSyde for the final time. Since that day EkoSyde has been known as Enigma and joined the House of Pain. Ever since that day Enigma has been a force to be reckoned with. We has gone onto win two WWA Extreme Titles and held the Extreme/Cruiserweight Titles at the same time. As well he has feuded with the likes of Chance, Jimmi Zion and Tracer Bullet. Enigma is the head of the Forsaken Souls which includes Wes Sanders, Se7en and Joey K. With these men by his side there is no telling how far he will go. Enigma went on a huge run and may have finally ended his feud with Chance via defeating him in the Casino Match and a singles match at IDR. As well Enigma and Wes Sanders won a Graveyard match against Chance/Somers. Recently Enigma has been walking through the Intercontinental Title Tournament beating Mal Somers and Fuel and now goes to the finals to face Venny LeTrav. Will he come out on top? Enigma has been feuding with the WWA World Champion Kash. Enigma beat Venny to become the WWA Intercontinental Champion, but lost the title right after winning it to Dave Harley in a match where Kash was the special guest referee. Kash and Enigma are in a war and only one will come out on top. |
