Appearance

While no matinee idol, Tracer isn't an ugly bastard, either. His short, cropped black hair is a trademark of his, and his cocky grin is a tell-tale sign of his huge ego. He has a few bullet wounds on his upper torso from his days as a private eye on the streets of New Orleans, but they are covered by his wrestling attire.

Ring Attire

Enters arena wearing full detective gear, only with a different color scheme. Long black trench coat, black hat, highly-polished black shoes, black pants, bright red suspenders and necktie, and shoulder holster. In the ring, he just wears the pants, suspenders, black dress shirt, and shoes.

Personality

Occasionally overbearing, but generally an easy-going and good-natured type person. Cross him, however, and you'll see an entirely different side to this complex individual. Nothing is more important to him than the health and well-being of his family

History

Tracer was born Trent LeBeaux to a fairly wealthy family who lived in the suburbs of New Orleans. Trent was the last of six children. He had a reasonably happy childhood until 1975, when the family received word that their oldest child, Francois "Frank" LeBeaux, Jr., had been gunned down in Vietnam. While too young to understand that there should have never been any troops there in the first place, Trent was quite old enough to feel the pain of loss.

The years passed, and while the pain remained, the family was able to cope. Trent started school, and showed some real promise from the get-go. As he made his way through school, Trent started thinking about what he wanted to do with his life afterward, and could only come up with one real choice that would bring together all of his talents... keen powers of observation, high work ethic, intelligence, marksmanship, high pain tolerance, and natural athletic ability... Trent had decided to become a private eye. When he announced his plans to the rest of the family, however, they were less than supportive. After all, they had already lost one son in the line of duty, they didn't want to deal with their youngest boy going into such a dangerous field of work. However, Trent's mind was made up, and he moved into the dangerous area of New Orleans proper and took up residence in a barely-livable apartment building to ply his trade.

Trent quickly made a name for himself among the crime world. He was extremely successful for someone in his line of work, and was able to move his offices to a more up-to-code building. It is this office that we would later see on WWA television. Now, while he was gaining all kinds of respect from many Big Easy natives who were in the know of the underbelly of the city, he was losing all the respect he had ever had from his family members, and the phone calls he would make home became shorter and shorter, until he just stopped making them entirely. It wasn't long after he broke communications with the rest of his family that Trent took his first bullet to the chest, and upon leaving the hospital two weeks later, he began thinking that maybe this wasn't the most intelligent career choice. He continued to work at his chosen profession while looking for inspiration on a career choice. This inspiration came in the form of an ECW telecast in 1997.

Upon seeing the martial arts and acrobatics of Rob Van Dam, the technical expertise of Taz, and the sheer brutality of people like The Sandman, Trent decided to look into professional wrestling as a change of careers. While he was still a very successful private eye, and not a one of his cases had remained unsolved, he thought that wrestling could provide him with the danger he lived on without the sheer life-threatening situations that he could get himself into in New Orleans. Around this time, he took another bullet to the chest and one to the abdomen. That clinched it. As soon as he regained consciousness in the hospital, Trent swore to himself that once the current case was closed, he would close up shop and get into wrestling. He found a training school about 200 miles away that he thought would suit him well enough, and travelled there on weekends while making ends meet during the week as a bartender. When Trent was questioned about his personal history at the training center, the local promoter knew damn well that he would have a hit gimmick on his hands. And with the street fighting experience and martial arts training (to aid said street fighting) that Trent had had already, he also knew that he would have a future star coming from the center as well.

It was in late 1998 that Trent began training at the center, and he was easily the biggest standout of the trainees. After a few months of the training, Trent was approached by the promoter, who was carrying a trench coat and fedora. The look on Trent's face said it all... he was really confused. "What's with the Columbo clothes?" he reportedly asked. The promoter just laughed and told him that with his past career as a private eye, he would fit very smoothly into a gimmick character. "But you know private investigators haven't worn those kind of things since the thirties," Trent said, "You watch too many movies." The promoter laughed again. "The crowd won't care. They'll be too caught up in the character to really think about it." "Crowd?" Trent asked. "Yes," the promoter replied, "I think you're ready to have a match in front of a real audience. We just need to come up with a catchy name for you..." Being a fan of Calvin and Hobbes, Trent immediately suggested Tracer Bullet. The name stuck. Not long after his in-ring debut, Trent was contacted by the WWA, and he continued living his gimmick as Tracer Bullet. He quickly became a heavy player in the WWA after joining the House of Pain, and became fast friends with Nikodemous Segier, the man who would leave the House at the same time Tracer did. But there was a silver lining to his time with the HOP...

"This was clearly meant to be," Tracer says of his wrestling career. "If I had never entered the WWA, or the House of Pain, I would have never met my wife." Yes, Melissa Camero. Before getting ahold of this prime specimen, Tracer admits that his life had little to no meaning beyond the pursuit of money. It was Melissa who was Trent's inspiration leading from Independence Day Rumble 2000 up to Labor Day Brawl of the same year... that one little kick in the pants that he needed to propel him to greatness. Sure he'd had two US Title reigns previously, but had since fallen into a dramatic slump. His desire to please his then-girlfriend led him to the number one contender's spot and then to a victory over Mantis to nab his first World Title reign. After this victory, the new champion took the initiative and proposed to Camero in the center of the ring. They were wed shortly afterward, and have enjoyed a storybook marriage ever since. So storybook, in fact, that many people have accused it of being a sham. However, no one has been able to shatter their dome of security just yet. Since his first title reign, Bullet has held the title on two other occasions, making him one of only three people in WWA history to have held the top prize more than twice.

In the year 2001 Tracer dropped the detective gimmick and wrestled under his birth name. "This was something that just had to be done," he says. "My career was stagnating, and I needed to find a way that I could forget about keeping up appearances and just concentrate on what would keep me afloat in a sea of new talent. Oh sure, it didn't work so well, granted. But I learned to have fun again." In 2002, at the second annual Bourbon Street Brawl, Tracer once again picked up the detective garb and went back to what brought him to the dance in the first place.

At Independence Day Rumble 2003, the wheels were set in motion for a dramatic turning point in Tracer's career, as a mysterious ninja absconded with the WWA World Title during Tracer's title shot against champion Kash. At Labor Day Brawl the same year, it was revealed that the ninja was Tracer's personal cameraman, Tyler, and that it was Bullet who had been behind the theft the entire time. Tracer had turned his back on the fans, though he claimed they had abandoned him first. During his feud with Mal Somers, however, Tracer was finally brought back into the light... thanks in no small part to his guilt over indirectly breaking up Mal's relationship with Penny Wise.

Now with a child on the way and another World Title around his waist, what else is left for Bullet to accomplish?
