BREAKING NEWS MAY 15th 2012 World Wrestling Alliance IS BACK!

The World Wrestling Alliance was established in 1997. It began as an e-fed in which the best pure wrestlers were invited to be a part of and would go on strong until about 2005 when it started to go through some financial problems. Over the years there were a few attempts (some successful) to bring the WWA back to its Glory and in early 2012 it looked like the WWA would shut its doors forever but that hiatus was short lived, as "Replay" Ryan Rayne decided to not come out of retirement to fight again but yet to work on the rebirth of the WWA and Rayne's first order of business was to let the world know he is going to make WWA "A wrestling promotion whose goal is to entertain with pure wrestling".

The entertaining history WWA has with wrestlers like Shaman, Grunge, Seth Copeland, Kash, & Drew Rosen (who have all resigned contracts with the WWA) speaks for itself. The list of legends can go on and on forever but the reality is that no other fed can compete with the history and now the renewed excitement built around the WWA.

The promotion is most known for its pure approach towards an intense professional wrestling product. Though the WWA has always done extremely well in pay-per-view buys and television ratings, they are more focused on providing fans with an excellent product once again. The group has showcased many different international styles of professional wrestling, ranging from southern-style and technical wrestling, to hardcore wrestling.

In 2012 WWA Promotions implemented the "Council of Champions" creating more influence from WWA Legends to help build and mold the future of the company, this is key in assuring wrestlers have better opportunity to seek title contention. This leads to a mostly unpredictable entertaining bi-weekly show "Meltdown", and the promotion is known to make use of many surprise appearances from past and present stars of the WWA and other companies. The WWA has always been known as one of the more original and inventive groups of the past decade.

Grunge and RJ Stone fought to a double countout and fought to the back. 21:35

Eddie Van Dorn d. Nero via DQ when Nero deliberately attacked to ref. Nero retains the US Title due to the disqualification. 18:59

INTERMISSION - Fans were invited to perform their best Gary Trudeau impersonation. The winner got to announcer the Nero/EVD match that followed.

Eddie Whisky d. Willy Murdoch with some interference from General Mayhem. After the bout, Drew Rosen ran off Whisky while Floyd Murdoch took a round out of Mayhem. 13:35

Bobby Grant d. Nathan Cross via pinfall. Most attending declared it match of the night. 22:40

EVD & Grunge went to a double-DQ with Jack Griffiths and Seth Copeland. Special ref RJ Stone declared both teams a 'bunch of pussies' and got out of Dodge before they could rebuttal. 19:31

RJ Stone won a 25-person rumble-style battle royal featuring Drew Rosen, Eddie Whisky, and Nathan Cole, as well as several local talent and WWA prospects. 31:20

Intermission

Eddie Van Dorn hosted a WWA Trivia contest, with the winner gaining tickets to WWA Ascension. The winning question was "what is Denrol's real name"?

Agent ORANGE d. Ethan Archer 12:22

El Lobo Loco d. Lamprey via DQ when he refused to release the "latch" testicular claw. 8:12

Nero d. Steven Mason to retain the US Title 21:31. The crowd gave the competitors a standing 'o' after their efforts.

RJ Stone d. Grunge via countout after clocking Julie Wilson. Grunge took Julie back for a paramedic evaulation. After the show she was deemed "okay." 22:14

Floyd & Willy Murdoch and the Heat magnets went to a time-limit draw. After the match, Floyd gave Brett Butler a stinkface with extreme prejudice. 15:00

Nero d. Eddie Whisky & Drew Rosen in a Three-Way Dance when Rosen and Whisky both were DQ'd brawling throughout the arena. Nero Retains the US Title 23:22

Diamond Shazaam d. Go-Go Spectacular via pinfall 14:31

Intermission:

Drew Rosen invited fans to do their best General Mayhem impersonation. A local old woman won. General Mayhem was less than impressed, and was Golota'd by the old woman.

General Mayhem's Militia d. Eddie Van Dorn and Seth Copeland when General Mayhem tripped EVD allowing Agent ORANGE to hit the Orange mist and sneak a pin. 20:01

After the match, Dionysus did an impromptu survey of the crowd asking if they thought he should be the WWA Champion. This brought out RJ Stone, Grunge, Jack Griffiths and Eddie Van Dorn, who all in turn claimed they are the top contender for the WWA title.

Local high school sports mascots staged a mock battle royal to the amusement of few.
