WWA Magazine

Greetings!

For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Jafar Iqbal, aka the former Albert Drabble, aka the former Armaan Singhania. That’s the cheap plug out of the way.

When I heard that the WWA was coming back, I was hesitant at first, not sure what direction this crazy old train was gonna go in next. Then, when it all began to get clearer, all that excitement started coming back. The excitement of being part of something that I could call my own, which the WWA really has been since I joined way back when. But this time, I decided to step aside from handling. Yes, I probably could still handle now. And, yes, I probably would be able to do enough to have a successful stint. But I wanted to step aside and let everyone else do it all. I wanted to experience the WWA from an entirely different new perspective.

And so arrives WWA: The Magazine.

This is going to be a weekly magazine, packed full of information, features, opinion pieces and interviews, all so you guys can enjoy the WWA more than you usually do. Sure, it may not be spectacularly innovative and groundbreaking material but, again, it goes back to that old desire – it is something we can call our own.

And this magazine isn’t just mine – it belongs to all the writers who have helped me; it belongs to the bookers who approve it all; and it belongs to the handlers and the readers who we are proud to write for and write about.

So we start here, now. The very first edition, and I hope you enjoy it, because it was fun putting it together. We’ve got Rocky Adams this week. We’ve got a cute little ditty on Intrepid. We’ve even got a cool surprise on the back page, for those of you interested in the graphical side of things here in the WWA. And on top of that, you’ll hear from the bookers, you’ll get detailed analysis not only on the first WWA: Underground webcast, but your wonderful roleplays too. Add to that a couple of new regular columns which you’ll have to flick though to find out. We’ve got quite the first edition for you. Because you deserve it.

So I will stop talking now and let you turn the page, so to speak. This is your editor, signing off.

Jaf.
