Frequently Asked Questions

Last Updated: 9th June 2011

What is the WWA?
The WWA is an e-federation. It mixes creative writing into a roleplaying environment with a wrestling theme.

How do I join the WWA?
Follow the link on the same menu you found this page.

Why was my character rejected?
There are three reasons we will reject you. 1. Your roleplay isn't good enough. 2. Your character isn;t interesting enough. 3. We don't like you - If you have a bad reputation, or we feel you will not mix well with the roster and disrupt the harmony, we will reject you, and we reserve the right to do so. Generally speaking, we give most everyone a chance.

Where do I roleplay, and where can I find them?
We call roleplays "Flashes" and they appear under the television menu as "Insider Archive". Anyone who visits the WWA can view RPs. We have no roleplay board, and you submit your pieces through our backstage system, which is password protected. This system allows all your RPs to archive right onto your character profile, as well as your matches and segments. Here is an example: http://www.wwa-online.com/bio.php/S/383/promos

What is the eW Locker Room system, and can I get it?
The WWA's Matthew Warr designed and coded a custom, installable script which controls every single element of an eFederation. Look for a download soon.

Who runs the WWA?
Matthew Warr owns the WWA. He pays the bills, designed and maintains the website. He cannot take responsibility for the day to day operations though, and is lucky to have such a fine booking team.

The team changes quite frequently, but you can get to know them on the forums. They are very accissible and very helpful.

The current fedhead, Josh L., has been running the WWA in one form or another since late 2008.

I want a poser!
Tough. Poser's are rewarded for loyalty, dedication and hard work in the WWA. It is not your god given right to have a poser, and don't guarantee your character will ever get one. We try and get all characters that have been in the WWA for more than 3 months a poser image, but we ask for patience!

What kind of fed is the WWA?
We are a hybrid fed, with the focus mainly on roleplays. Angles play a major part in day to day operations, but generally do not affect outcomes. We like to think we are the best at treading the fine line between roleplay and angle federations.

How do you win matches?
Without a roleplay you will lose. If the RP doesn't mention, even in passing, the match, you will lose. Generally speaking the person who writes the best RP wins, but angles will invariably play key roles.

How did you make the site, and will you make me one?

This version of the WWA website was made by Matthew Warr. Coded by hand using Notepad, graphical work was done with Poser and Adobe Photoshop. Its fully CSS and W3C compliant. If you want him to make you a website, email him.

How does the Ranking System Work?
Rankings are decided jointly by the bookers. They decide based on current card placement, quality of work being produced and effort.

How Can I Join The Staff?
Simply put, you can't. Well, thats not strictly true. We only recruit staff from within the ranks of the WWA. The only external staff we may hire from time to time is match writers. Columnists and Booking Staff are always recruited from within the ranks.

The Results Are Late! I RPed hard, I have a right to see my results on time!
We try our damndest to keep things on time, and you would have no idea how much effort it involves. If you are the kinda guy to say something like that to us - don't even bother filling in the App.
